here are a few more photos of bryn. she hit six pounds today, so she is up 1.5 pounds from her birthweight! for the record, our daughter was born at 11:53 p.m. on sunday, november 4. she weighed 4 lbs. and 8 oz. and measured 17.5 inches in length. she's staying in the hospital a bit longer still to work on eating outside the womb. this is apparently much harder than it sounds, and it is a common stumbling block for preemies. one of the nurses told us that babies do most of their maturing when they are stressed, so bryn must have had it good in utero, because she is taking her sweet time growing up. we'll hope it stays that way, although we would like to have her at home.

She is absolutely beautiful. Of course I don't have to tell you that. I am glad she is doing well.I love her name Bryn.
My youngest weighed 5 12 1/2 lbs. But he was full term, though I still had to use the premature pampers until he got bigger.
He is now 24 years old and a newly wed.
No children of their own yet.
